The natural lagoon of Mar Menor has always been a hugely popular holiday destination and is now the home of
many of Spain’s flagship golf and sports resorts including Polaris World and La Manga.
Murcia’s San Javier Airport is in the northern part of this region and Alicante Airport is only forty minutes
further north.
