All our Inspection Trips are tailor-made to suit your personal requirements. They can
be on any day(s), as long or as short as you need and cover as many or as few properties as you want to see.
At any time in the trip we can take time to answer specific questions regarding
property purchase in Spain, legal issues, finance etc.
Below are shown typical examples, but please bear in mind, an inspection trip is for
you, and we will accommodate your needs.
In this section:
Country Property Inspection Trip
Typically these run from Sundays to Wednesdays or Thursdays (2 or 3 nights in a local
hotel).
Sunday
We pick you up from the airport and take to your hotel and allow you
to settle in.
Monday and Tuesday
We pick you up in the morning and take you to see five
or six properties on each day. Usually on the Monday we show you a mix of different styles and locations to try and get a better idea of just what houses interest you most.
Please try and be open and honest with us, tell us what you really think of the
properties. This allows us to react accordingly so that we don’t waste your time showing you unsuitable houses.
We will always show you any specific properties you have requested to see.
Wednesday
We pick you up and, depending on flight times, we will revisit
any properties you most liked (we can also revisit properties on the Tuesday if your flight times don’t allow us much time on the Wednesday)..
We also take you back to the airport in good time for your flight.
Golf Property Inspection Trip
Typically these run from Sundays to Thursdays (3 nights in a local hotel).
Sunday
We pick you up from the airport and take to your hotel and allow you
to settle in.
Monday to Wednesday
We pick you up each morning and take you to view
several golf resorts, or properties close to golf courses. Most usually this involves one day viewing resorts in Alicante, one day devoted to Polaris World, and the third day viewing other resorts
around Murcia.
We also take the time to show you some local golf courses and facilities.
We will always show you any specific properties you have requested to see.
Thursday
We take you back to the airport in good tme for your flight.
Useful Tips
- Don’t bring money for a deposit - this may make you feel under pressure and may
make you rush into a decision. If you find the right property, you can send the money once you get back home.
- If you find a property that you’re interested in, always take a second
look. It’s amazing what you see the second time that you didn’t see the first time.
- Ignore the decoration.
The Spanish don’t get “House Doctor” and some of the older properties are not well presented - but look past this and see the potential.
- Bring a camera and take lots of photos - make sure the first photos at each
house is an obvious picture of the front of the property so you know which photos go with which house.
- Be open and honest with us about what you like and what you don’t - this will
help us make sure we don’t waste your time with unsuitable properties.
- Talk to us before you come over - call us on our freephone number (0800

- Make a check list of questions so you don’t forget to ask.
- Have fun! It’s a really exciting experience buying a house, especially in
a new country like Spain - so relax and have a good time.
Costs and Arrangements
Advanta Homes no longer runs free inspection trips. Within the industry, free
trips are now widely regarded as a high pressure sales approach which places too much of an obligation on the client to purchase a property.
Instead we help you book the trip and offer to reimburse the cost if you choose to purchase a property through us. This way you still get a free inspection trip, but these is no pressure or obligation placed upon you (please see below for conditions).
The cost varies according to flight prices. You can either book your own
flights or Contact Us and we will do it on your behalf.
Please check our availability before booking your flights.
We will book your hotel for you:
A very friendly local family hostal which has an excellent restaurant (all rooms en
suite). Costs about 50 Euros (38 Pounds) per room per night.
or
A Four Star international Hotel with a superb restaurant and all the usual hotel
facilities. Costs about 75 Euros (57 Pounds) per room per night.
Conditions
We will reimburse the flight and accommodation costs for your inspection trip if you
purchase a property through Advanta Homes.
- We reimburse a standard amount for both flights and hotel, it is therefore not
necessary to keep your receipts.
- Flights: 100 Euros per person for a return flight.
- Hotel: 50 Euros per room per night for three nights.
- Total reimbursement: 350 Euros.
- Should you decide to make multiple trips, we only reimburse the first inspection
trip.
- If you win a free inspection trip as part of any Advanta Homes (or partner
company) promotion, this offer does not apply.
- The reimbursement is made following completion of the purchase.
- The reimbursement is paid in addition to any Cashback offer.

have calculated the approximate carbon footprint associated with an inspection trip, assuming return flights for two from central England, and two days property viewings.
