One of the most popular courses in the region, built in the foothills of
the Bonalba Mountains and with superb sea views.
The location is one of the best in all of Spain, being so well connected
and with a climate perfect for playing any time of year.
The course is quite new, having opened in 1995, but already it has a
proven reputation and has been used in a number of professional tournaments including the National Professional Golf Circuit, the Costa Blanca challenge and the European Challenge.
Known for its large number of hazards, lakes, water and sand traps, as
well as the huge variety of vegetation, the Ramón Espinosa designed course has a reputation as a highly interesting challenge for amateurs and professionals alike. Bonalba is regarded as
quite technical, with some really tricky moments, and as the round progresses, the course becomes a bit more links-like insofar as the coastal breezes increasingly come into play.
